What can one say about oneself? I have been in IT for as long as I can remember with terms like PC DOS 1.0, Floppy Disks, Stiffy Disk, ZIP drives and the programming languages were called Basic, QBasic, C++ and Perl. My passion has always been technology and support so here I am running my business delivering support to my customers in a way that I would like to be treated in areas that I am unfamiliar in myself.
By empowering my customers to understand enough for them to make an informed decision is important to me as they are the only ones who understands what they truely need. My job is to interpret what their needs are and then provide them with the information needed. Over my career in IT I have worked for global companies such as Hewlett Packard and Dow Jones Markets and local companies such as Woodside and ASG. I have also worked for Department of Education and Training and supported even smaller companies who in turn have supported the smallest of family businesses and the community. There is no such thing as stupid question as these are the questions that guide us through the learning stages of our lives and ultimately form us into the individuals of today and tomorrow.
